Spiced parsnip & apple soup from MY Waitrose. I have no doubt whats so ever that the yelow colour reproduced on the Waitrose recipe booklet is unreal. Did you ever see a parsnip that colour?

This blog is not a photographic blog; I don't use any professional equipment, just an iphone and ambient light. I arrange the food to look a bit like the pictures in the books but this is invariably rushed as the food is about to go on the table and hungry people are waiting expectantly. I do use filters to bring out colour.

I started this project a year or more ago but have only now started this blog. It is primarily for friends and family to see but it occurs to me that writers or publishers might not like their images appearing alongside mine in this public forum. If that is indeed the case then I ask they please let me know and I will take the relevant post down immediately.
